The EMPEROR OF PAIN has been here before as he faced the now former Champion Mitch Waterman for the BCW Battle Express Championship at BCW 44 going the full ten minutes as the contents was declared a draw. Later, on that night ZHAN WEN would team with Mitch Waterman to take on THE PRESTON KINDRED causing an upset for the ages, breaking up the PRESTONS for the next twelve months.
On the other hand, JOHNATHAN PRESTON along with his brother Sean were salivating over the thought of taking apart Waterman. There was a false start at BCW 45 where JOHNATHAN went through Lucius Wulfe before the PRESTONS – A PRESTON – finally got his hands on Waterman and the BCW Battle Express Championship at BCW 46.
Also, at BCW 46 ZHAN WEN would earn another shot to be the King of the Sprints defeating his smaller friend and foe in Emman the Kid, leading to this Goliath Versus Goliath affair between the AUSTRALIAN PSYCHO and the EMPEROR OF PAIN.
