BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 25 is in the history books as two years of BCW comes to an end, with an amazing third year to come in 2019!
BCW 25 produced the following results:
Match 1 – BCW WOMEN’S NO. 1 CONTENDER GAUNTLET:
Queen Bianka was out first and immediately confronted by Madison Eagles. After some back and forth, Madison eliminated Queen Bianka via her patented STF.
Chanel Phoenix debuted next and also fell short against the all empowering Madison Eagles.
The Voodoo Witch Erika Reid entered the contest giving Madison Eagles more than she could handle, leading to Madison refusing to break the STF causing the DQ.
The final participant in the match was Vixsin who faced a valiant but injured Erika Reid eventually finishing the match with a pump handle driver.
Winner and new BCW Women’s No.1 Contender: VIXSIN
ANNOUNCEMENT: BCW Women’s Champion MELINA appeared on screen to congratulate Vixsin in her victory and setting down the challenge for BCW 26 on 1 March 2019.
Match 2 – JOHNATHAN PRESTON VS MITCH WATERMAN
This match up never got started as Waterman was viciously attacked by Preston from behind before the bell. Preston yanked the tooth out of Waterman’s mouth before attempting to suffocate Waterman with a plastic bag. Slick Nick Bury arrived to run Preston away.
Winner: NO CONTEST
Match 3 – CARLO CANNON OPEN CHALLENGE
CARLO CANNON VS AVARY
In what was his first match since BCW 17, Carlo returned to await his mystery opponent. In a turn of events Avary answered the challenge and together these two combatants put on a wrestling clinic resulting in a Cash-Money victory.
Winner: CARLO CANNON via pinfall
Match 4 – BCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
MADDOG (c) VS NICK BURY
In a Championship rematch from last month, Bury for the second time took Maddog to his limit before the Crazy Canine found a way to victory.
Winner and Still BCW Heavyweight Champion: MADDOG via pinfall
AFTERMATH: The former ICW Heavyweight Champion from Scotland, DCT arrived attacking Maddog and informing the Battle Kingdom on what he thought of them before walking out with Maddog’s Championship.
ANNOUNCEMENT: LUCHA DOWUNDERGROUND 2019 is announced – Melbourne – Adelaide – Sydney.
Match 5 – VANCE ADAMS/BIG CUZ VS CLETUS/CODY SWIFT
In a match filled with bad blood it was the twisted personality of Avary that returned by the side of Vance Adams distracting Cletus and Cody. The distraction allowed Big Cuz to hit the chokeslam on Cody for the three count.
Winners: VANCE ADAMS/BIG CUZ via pinfall
ANNOUNCEMENT: An after match attack by Big Cuz on Cody led to International Star ROBBIE E appearing on screen and challenging the larger Cuz to a match at BCW 26.
Match 6 – DOWIE JAMES VS MICK MORETTI
In a rematch from last show Dowie Vs Rapscallion II did not disappoint. However it was the mind of Dowie that achieved the upper hand packaging Moretti up in a unique pinning combination for the victory.
Winner: DOWIE JAMES via pinfall
AFTERMATH: The Rapscallion grabbed the mic to discount the loss before challenging Dowie once more since their series is now 1-1. Dowie proposed an Iron Man Match, leading Moretti to declare the damage he could do in half an hour. Dowie not to be outdone, announced that he was referring to a 60-MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH for BCW 26.
Match 7 – KEN SHAMROCK VS GABRIEL WOLFE
In an anticipated Main Event the diabolical Wolfe spent the match attempting to avoid the Worlds Most Dangerous Man. Unfortunately for Wolfe, the master of the Ankle Lock grabbed a hold of Wolfe’s ankle causing him to tap out.
Winner: KEN SHAMROCK via submission
AFTERMATH: An upset Wolfe attempted to attack Shamrock with his BCW Tag Team Championship. Ken grabbed the mic to challenge Wolfe to the straps. Wolfe with the knowledge his current partner Tome Filip remains indefinitely suspended brought out his makeshift partner Big Cuz. Laughing in the face of Shamrock, Wolfe announced that there will be no match as it required Ken to have a partner. Ken announced that he had made friends in Australia, announcing Carlo Cannon as his partner. Wolfe still attempting to get out of the match was stopped by referee Terry Silver whom received word from BCW Management that there will be a BCW Tag Team Championship Match – “right now!”
Match 8 – BCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
GABRIEL WOLFE/BIG CUZ (in place of Tome Filip) (c) VS
KEN SHAMROCK/CARLO CANNON
This match got underway with Wolfe and Cuz finding early success against their foes. Eventually with the fans behind them Carlo and Ken fought back. Ken cleared the ring of Cuz before turning his attention to Wolfe and once again clamming onto his ankle with the Ankle Lock. Wolfe in all sorts of pain had no choice but to tap out for the second time in one night and surrender the BCW Tag Team Championships.
