BCW72 – Results

On Saturday 25 July 2026 BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 72: BEST IN BATTLE 3 FINALS took place producing the following results:

In a wild opener for BCW 72, this match was in overdrive from the opening bell. Rapid and Clutch flying high. Syd Parker doing Jurassic things and This Guy simply attempting to steal the win, until a rampaging Gabriel Wolfe caught him in the Lockjaw for the submission win.

Winner: Gabriel Wolfe via submission

In the first of two Semi Finals, Dios Del Inframundo was looking to kick it up a notch and take his younger foe into deep waters early. The unhinged Nixon was quick to match the task as he flowed around the ring to the tune in his head. A mishap from Dios Del Inframundo led to Nixon taking the advantage to nail the Shining Wizard inside time to not only advance to the Finals but to also regain the BCW Battle Express Championship.

Not too dissimilar to the previous night, Famous B stole the advantage before the bell as he attacked the leg of Sam Yannis with a steel rod. Once the bell rung, Yannis had the likelihood of victory stacked against him. However, The Sexy Greek Boy almost found a way to victory before Famous B wrenched Yannis’ leg in a Boston Crab, forcing him to submit.

For the second night running it was mealtime for The Big Man, however he was not without a challenge from the formidable Ben & Breakfast. Though, when it was all said and done, the ending was the same as Jamie Tagataese dished out pain to gain the three count.

After the match Cletus’ music hit, and not to be outsmarted twice in two nights, Tagataese waited for Cletus to come from the crowd. However Cletus came from the entrance way got in his shots against The Big Man and left.

The host, Bushwhacker Luke came to the ring to talk about the action he had seen thus far, while reminding everyone that he still has itchy feet. Enter The Bastard Brothers and El Negativo. Krackerjak took the mic to poke fun at Luke and just before becoming physical, Maddog and Sean Preston ran out for the save. A six-man tag was announced and the action was on. All six men went at it and at one point Luke impressed with a duck under followed by a double clothesline. The victory was sealed for his team, but not without Krackerjak and Maddog causing each other to bleed. In the aftermath Luke teased a stink face on El Negativo only for Maddog to insist it was his turn, before El Negativo escaped dodge.

Since last year Pogo The Clown has taunted Lucky O’Leary and now it was time for payback. However this spectacle of a match with half a cage and weapons littered around the ring made it Pogo The Clown’s playground. Once downing O’Leary a vicious beating with a baseball bat followed until the referee stopped the bout.

Johnathan Preston visualised Cava as the foe he wanted in Blue Demon Jr, while Cava took advantage whenever Johnathan was distracted. While Cava impressed, it was not enough to down the Australian Psychopath who donned the Blue Demon Jr mask who tapped out Cava.

After the match Blue Demon Jr’s music played, however the BCW Heavyweight Champion did not appear.

Mind games by the Champion?

Miki Fortune took to the mic to declare the open challenge would be answered by none other than Tarlee, because it is always Tarlee. Lo and behold, it was Tarlee. The match ensued with the Champion looking for every advantage against The Star of Australian Professional Wrestling. Tarlee was not to be denied, until she was by Miki Fortune who found a way to win.

This match did not disappoint as the action was fast and furious. As ten minutes approached, the combatants tried to seal the win. However time expired and Levi Nixon retained his BCW Battle Express Championship while the match continued. This Final did not miss a beat, going outside the ring with Famous B putting it all on the line flying over the guard rails. Once back in the ring, Nixon had his chances to put B away until they were both perched on the top rope. Nixon with the advantage lost out to Famous who hoisted him up for the Fallaway Spanish Fly followed by the one, two, three.

After the match Famous B was presented with the Best In Battle Cup by Bushwhacker Luke before berating the Battle Kingdom. Famous B gave props to Levi Nixon and called out Gabriel Wolfe who was oddly followed by the uninvited Anth Cava. B went on to say that Wolfe was perennially disrespected, however together he, Wolfe and Nixon are a – Class Act!

Famous B went on to say there is no chance he is losing again, which led to PJ Black appearing on screen challenging Famous B to a retirement match. Famous B reluctantly accepted for BCW 73. It is on!
