BCW70 – Results

The team of Yannis, Preston and Clutch sped in and out of the match utilising Lucha Rules along with their opponents. Each combatant making a point to fly high. In the end it was the team of Yannis, Sean Preston and the debuting Christian Clutch who prevailed to advance to the Lucha Libre Trios Final.

After the match, Jamie Tagataese charged through the curtain bulldozing Cletus and taking out Bush Kelly to the chagrin of the Battle Kingdom.

This contest was both hard hitting with comic relief disguised by Sparkles, The Artist and Breakfast to lull their more experienced foes into a false sense of security. However with Famous B fresh off losing his Heavyweight Championship, Nixon upset over his almost Battle Royal win and Wolfe enraged simply because he has never not been enraged, it was not to be for the underdogs. Wolfe locked in a Lockjaw to achieve victory for his team who advanced to the Final.

Aero Star earnt his way into this match by defeating Sam Yannis the night prior, while Inframundo was defending his newly won strap for the first time after besting Lucky O’Leary the night prior. These former BCW Tag Team Champions went at it to find a pathway to victory resulting in a time limit draw. However both Luchadores urged BCW Management for five more minutes, which was granted, however in the end the deadlock was unable to be broken as time expired once again. Dios Del Inframundo retained the BCW Battle Express Championship.

La Real Familia stormed to the ring eager for a fight and Gore, Cannon and El Negativo were just as eager to oblige. It was on early and it was on everywhere as these six combatants fought all over the arena utilising whatever they could find including bins and Dave Morgan the referee. At one point Dave Morgan received a whipping of his own courtesy of La Real Familia. In the end the match finally came to a close as the trio from Monterrey, Mexico found the pinfall for the win.

In a match where Faby Apache was looking to gain back the victory stolen from her the night prior, Sexy Dulce was not going to make it easy. Tapping into the La Real Familia theme, dressed as LA Park, Dulce pulled out all the stops including an armbar, until Faby Apache rallied to score the pinfall victory.

These six combatants went at it under Lucha Rules for the second time in one night, albeit for the first time against each other. Old feuds boiled as Yannis and Nixon went face to face, while a furious Famous B and an always enraged Wolfe continued to clamp down on their foes. Clutch was impressive while Sean Preston showed exactly why he is the current 2026 Battle Jumble winner. However the rage of Famous B, Wolfe and Nixon led to their victory and they were crowned the first ever Lucha Libre Trios Tournament Champions.

This match was supposed to be Johnathan Preston’s crowning moment, however minutes into the contest, Famous B’s music hit and he entered the ringside area complaining of his right to an immediate rematch. Blue Demon Jr and Johnathan Preston agreed and this match was restarted as a Triple Threat Match for the BCW Heavyweight Championship. Much to the surprise of Preston, once knocked to the outside Blue Demon Jr was able to take advantage of a weary Famous B who was wrestling for the third time in one night, hooked him up causing the surprise win by way of submission. Blue Demon Jr retained his title, which will now go back with him to Mexico.
