In our next match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 55 the team of THE GIFT ROBBIE THORPE and THIS GUY take on the newly formed alliance of CLETUS and LUCKY BARRY O’LEARY!
At BCW 53, during the 5th Annual Battle Rumble – THIS GUY was a surprise entrant, eliminating Vixsin before being toppled over the top by Cletus. Angered by his moment of glory being ruined, THIS GUY returned to the match with the debuting ROBBIE THORPE who destroyed CLETUS before eliminating him, even though he was not an entrant in the Battle Rumble Match!
At BCW 54 CLETUS sought retribution against THORPE and took him on mano-e-mano, falling short due to the ‘assists’ from THIS GUY who was at ringside. After the match, THORPE held onto the bridging arm breaker a la Rousimar Palhares before releasing the hold and then on instruction from THIS GUY continued his attack after the bell. THIS GUY opportunistically joined in, utilising his pugilistic background to assault EVERYBODY’S FAVOURITE BOGAN.
Earlier in the night, the man who once terrorised Ramsay Street as a young punk – the reformed LUCKY O’LEARY made his singles debut defeating a gallant Lucius Wulfe. However, while watching from the back, O’LEARY had seen enough of the assault and ran in for the save, clearing the ring and preventing any further damage on CLETUS.
The stage is now set as THE BOGAN has a friend in LUCKY O’LEARY, and together they will take on THE GIFT and THIS GUY with the goal of zipping up THIS GUY’s mouth for good!
On Friday 24 November 2023, will THE LUCKY BOGANS have enough intestinal fortitude to defeat the gargantuan ROBBIE THORPE and THIS GUY or will the motor that runs THIS GUY’s mouth and the chisel that sculpts THE GIFT continue to dominate the Battle Kingdom?
