BURY has skyrocketed through the Battle Kingdom from a perennial BCW Tag Team Championship Contender alongside Mitch Waterman to BCW Heavyweight Champion after winning an opportunity in a Battle Royal more than one year ago.
The COVID year caused many to ponder whether BURY’s run at the top would be temporary, but as proven last show with his defeat of Gabriel Wolfe, this is not the case. However, one man watching has decided that it is, namely SLEX.
At BCW 41 last month, THE BUSINESS arrived with his sights set on the top prize. It is rumoured that the arrival of SLEX was always going to be opportunistic as he arrogantly attacked the Champion at night’s end to demonstrate his intentions to the Battle Kingdom. A presumption of easy pickings according to SLEX, but a defiant BURY will have none of it and is reported to be irate about SLEX spoiling his homecoming.
