Our first match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 50 is the much anticipated, three years in the making, No-Time Limit Match between THE NATIONAL TREASURE NICK ALDIS and BCW BATTLE EXPRESS CHAMPION JOHNATHAN PRESTON!
ALDIS first appeared in the Battle Kingdom back at the inauguration on 25 November 2016 defending his Global Force Wrestling Championship against Slade Mercer. Thereafter PRESTON made his own impression featuring in BCW Heavyweight Championship matches, holding BCW Tag Team Gold as one half of The Preston Kindred and now as the incumbent BCW Battle Express Champion.
In April 2020 ALDIS was set to defend the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against PRESTON only for this matchup to be nixed due to the Global Pandemic. Notwithstanding, and true to his word, ALDIS is now ready to go against PRESTON.
At BCW 49 PRESTON successfully defended the BCW Battle Express Championship in a Dungeon Match against Lucius Wulfe. After the win, ALDIS appeared on screen challenging PRESTON to this match and promising to take his time with his foe.
On Friday 24 February 2023, will THE NATIONAL TREASURE do as he promised and stretch JOHNATHAN PRESTON, or will the AUSTRALIAN PSYCHO continue his run of dominance and do the unthinkable by defeating NICK ALDIS?
