In our second official match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 57 the undisputed BCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE SEXY GREEK BOYS – LEVI NIXON and SAM YANNIS defend their championships against the reformed SLADE MERCER and GABRIEL WOLFE!
At BCW 56 MERCER and WOLFE inserted themselves into the tag title picture after their opportunity in the Battle Rumble turned to defeat. While THE SEXY GREEK BOYS defeated the Rocky Balboas of the Battle Kingdom in The Black Diamonds after YANNIS “Rolled The Souvlaki” and NIXON “Spread The Tzatziki”.
The aftermath saw the celebration of THE SEXY GREEK BOYS come to a halt when MERCER and WOLFE attacked their smaller contemporaries announcing their reformation with one goal in mind. THE SEXY GREEK BOYS with Spartan blood running through their veins demanded that they go toe-to-toe against THE MERCENARY and THE SURGEON, but promising to dismantle their reunion before anyone even notices it happened!
On Friday 26 April 2024 the incumbent BCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, THE SEXY GREEK BOYS take on the one-time each BCW Heavyweight Champions SLADE MERCER and GABRIEL WOLFE for the gold – but will it be comeuppance or vindication?
