In our first match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 41 the BCW Heavyweight Champion NICK BURY returns to the Battle Kingdom to defend his title for the first time against GABRIEL WOLFE with ENYO CROWS!
The Battle Books of history have BURY and WOLFE meeting on two previous occasions, where BURY has managed to raise his hand in victory both times. However, the insertion of ENYO CROWS, who was not in Sydney when WOLFE lost his title at BCW 39, is ready willing and able to make a difference against the one that calls himself THE UNIT.
At BCW 38 BURY shocked the Battle Kingdom when winning the Battle Royal and achieving an opportunity to face off against the BCW Heavyweight Champion for all the marbles. The following night at BCW 39, BURY interrupted WOLFE’s triumphant speech in Sydney to demand their match happen first rather than as the night’s main event. This boded well for BURY who found a way to defeat a startled WOLFE and capture his maiden Championship to the shock of the crowd in attendance.
WOLFE was in shambles after his diabolical plan with CROWS the night prior finally allowed him to wrestle away gold from the Crazy Canine Maddog, now finding himself as a transitional Champion he always vowed never to be.
Though the end of 2020 did bring WOLFE good fortune and placed him back in the winners’ column defeating Maddog in a Hardcore Match and setting him on fire to the delight of ENYO CROWS.
On Friday 26 February 2021 at BCW 41 will NICK BURY keep on rolling with another victory or will WOLFE find himself once again draped in gold?
