Our penultimate match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 73 is a BCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH featuring MIKI FORTUNE (c) defending her title against the returning unretired CHERRY STEPHENS!
At BCW 68 MIKI FORTUNE won the BCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP in a scramble that saw her tap out Caity Luxe. Thereafter at BCW 72 FORTUNE laid down an open challenge which in her mind was always going to be answered by Tarlee and was answered by Tarlee. Victorious once again THE HUNTRESS now has her first defence in the books and is in search of a ‘challenge’.
Enter CHERRY STEPHENS, a previous one-time BCW WOMEN’S CHAMPION who again became the No.1 Contender when defeating Vixsin at BCW 59 back on 6 July 2024. STEPHENS handed this opportunity to Frankie B and has not been seen since. H-O-W-E-V-E-R CHERRY STEPHENS is back and true to form BCW Management will honour the Championship opportunity STEPHENS believed she had lost.
MIKI FORTUNE from the land of the Croweaters versus CHERRY STEPHENS from the land of the Blues, its State of Origin between South Australia and New South Wales and it is happening for Gold in Victoria!
On Friday 30 October 2026 will MIKI FORTUNE continue her reign OR will CHERRY STEPHENS burst back into the Battle Kingdom and immediately rise to the top just as she once did in the past?
