BCW59 – RESULTS

Last night BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 59: BEST IN BATTLE FINALS took place at the South Eastern Entertainment Centre producing the following results:

Match 1 – Best In Battle Semi Final
BCW Heavyweight Championship Match:
Tajiri Vs Mick Moretti (c)
Tajiri attempted to end this match early as he distracted the referee and misted an unsuspecting Moretti. This technical contest ended when Referee Dave Morgan got in the way causing Tajiri to be rolled up by Moretti, who retained his title and advanced to the Best In Battle Final.
Winner: … and STILL BCW Heavyweight Champion Mick Moretti via pinfall

Match 2 – Best In Battle Semi Final Match:
Mitch Waterman Vs Famous B
Waterman and Famous B have similar attributes and found it difficult to break the tie. Waterman went for everything but
Famous had him scouted. The finish came when Famous found an opening for his “Fly As I Wanna B” swanton bomb, thus advancing to the Best In Battle Final.
Winner: Famous B Via pinfall

Match 3 – BCW Tag Team Championship Falls Count Anywhere Tornado
Rules Match: Slade Mercer/Gabriel Wolfe Vs Barry Lucky
O’Leary/This Guy w/Robbie Thorpe Vs Cletus/Bush Kelly Vs The
Natural Classics Vs The Sexy Greek Boys (c)
In a match that began before the bell, all ten combatants went at it. Referee Dave Morgan had difficult time flying from one side of the
arena to the other. When it was all said and done The Sexy Greek Boys and The Natural Classics almost finished the match at the
same time. It was an almost a three count for the Classics until a submission victory was earned by The Sexy Greek Boys.
Winners: … and STILL BCW Tag Team Champions The Sexy Greek Boys via submission
Aftermath – Tajiri entered the ring and chased after Referee Dave Morgan, attempting to mist him. Morgan left the ringside area and ran for his life.

Match 4 – BCW Women’s No.1 Contendership Match:
Vixsin Vs Cherry Stephens
In a match between two former champions, Vixsin and Stephens went back and forth. Stephens eventually battled her way to hit
Vixsin with the finish to become the new No.1 Contender to Caity Luxe’s BCW Women’s Championship.
Winner: Cherry Stephens via pinfall

Match 5 – BCW Battle Express Championship Match:
Maddog (c) Vs Gore
Gore cashed in his Battle Jumble opportunity and went hammer and tong against the Crazy Canine. In the end Gore was able to
topple Maddog who submitted to an omoplata arm lock to relinquish his title.
Winner: … and NEW BCW Battle Express Champion Gore via submission

Match 6 – Best of the Rest Triple Threat Match:
Adam Brooks Vs Gabriel Aeros Vs Damian Slater
In a match between three Best In Battle combatants, Brooks, Slater and Aeros went in and out of the ring as each wanted to
encourage the other two to do battle. Once going at it, Slater hit Aeros with a modified Michinoku Driver to finally register a win in
the Battle Kingdom.
Winner: Damian Slater via pinfall

Match 7 – Brotherly Grudge Match:
Johnathan Preston Vs Sean Preston
In a match where Mother would once again be mad, Jonathan attempted to entice Sean back to the dark side. At one point inviting his younger sibling to hit him with a chair. Sean
had his chances but in the end Jonathan gained the victory via a quick roll up.
Winner: Johnathan Preston via pinfall

Match 8 – Best In Battle Final BCW Heavyweight Championship Match:
Famous B Vs Mick Moretti (c)
The Final between B and Moretti did not disappoint as each combatant gave it their all. Famous B managed to hit his “Fly As I
Wanna B” Swanton Bomb and when it looked over Moretti placed his foot on the ropes. Moretti rallied from here and curb
stomped his way to another title retention while also being crowned the first ever Best In Battle.
Winner: … and STILL BCW Heavyweight Champion and THE BEST IN BATTLE Champion Mick Moretti via pinfall.

Aftermath: Tajiri entered the ring to face Referee Dave Morgan. Morgan having enough, ripped his shirt off and started swinging only to be misted for the second night in a row. As Morgan recovered Tajiri returned and misted him again. It all looked over, but the fans called for it, and Tajiri obliged misting Morgan for the third time as a defeated and colourful Morgan crawled to the back.
