BCW66 – RESULTS

Frankie B was looking to redeem herself after losing the BCW Women’s Champion, as was Ivelisse who returned to the Battle Kingdom for the first time in more than seven years. These two combatants went at it before a running knee by Ivelisse on Frankie B led to the pinfall victory.

Thorpe and This Guy were looking for their own glory, after Lucky’s Best In Battle 2 Tournament win. However The Super Grouse Bogans had other ideas and once disposing of Thorpe to the outside they nailed the Compactor on This Guy for the pinfall win and title retention.

3 – BCW Battle Express Championship:
Barry Lucky O’Leary Vs Sam Yannis (c)
In Yannis’ first defence he had his hands full with the momentum of Lucky. Half way through the match, Levi Nixon appeared with a chair, but simply took a seat. Nixon’s presence distracted Yannis giving Lucky the opportunity end Yiannis’ night and commence his reign as BCW Battle Expres Champion.
Winner: … AND NEW BCW Battle Express Champion, Barry Lucky O’Leary via pinfall

After the match Robbie Thorpe and This Guy came to the ring to celebrate with Lucky in a glorious moment for this triumvirate. However in a shocking turn of events, Thorpe clotheslined Lucky and This Guy joined in on the attack leaving Lucky laid out, spoiling his crowning moment.

 

In Tarlee’s first title defence, it appeared as though Luxe was battling the handicap of Tarlee and Referee Dave Morgan. In a back and forth encounter, Luxe’s frustration led to an opening for Tarlee which led to the Rebound and title retention.
Winner: … AND STILL BCW Women’s Championship, Tarlee via pinfall

After the match Ivelisse ran to the ring and attacked the Champion leaving her lying flat on her back to stamp her return to the Battle Kingdom and her position as No.1 Contender.

 

This monstrous tag team match turned bloody and without rules very quickly. Gore’s early dominance led to his isolation once Maddog was in the ring. Krackerjak bloodied Maddog with the assistance of Famous B. Gore eventually returned to the match to clean house. However Maddog back in and his previously broken arm was targeted eventually leading to him being piled up for the pinfall.
Winners: BCW Heavyweight Championship, Famous B & Krackerjak via pinfall.

After the match Maddog grabbed the mic and challenged Krackerjak to a No Ropes Barbed Wire Match at BCW 67, which was accepted.

 

15 wrestlers entered but only one outlasted them all. Syd and Slex started, and as the ring built up with bodies, eliminations followed. Johnathan Preston entered at Number 11 and did not look back as he dominated the competition until it was only him and Slex. Slex almost eliminated Johnathan, but Johnathan survived before decapitating the Business and winning the Battle Rumble. Johnathan’s second Battle Rumble win.
Winner: … Johnathan Preston by last eliminating Slex to become No.1 Contender for BCW Heavyweight Champion.

 

7 – Tome The Taiga Filip Vs Mustafa Ali
The main event was fast and furious, with Tome attempted to block the speed of Ali. Ali not one to be denied turned it up with a ‘tope suicida’ from inside the ring to over the outside guardrail. Thereafter Filip had his moments, but could not cope with Ali’s speed leading Ali closing the show with a 450 splash to seal the victory by pinfall.
