BCW64 – RESULTS

Last night BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 64: BEST IN BATTLE 2 OPENING ROUND took place and the results were as follows:

MATCH 1 – Best In Battle 2 Reserve Match:
Zhan Wen Vs Stevie Filip
In a match where the winner becomes the official alternate in the tournament, these two combatants looked for every advantage. Stevie was slick while Zhan Wen was right there with him. Zhan Wen eventually saw the opportunity after a near fall to reverse his foe and grab the ropes for the pinfall.
Winner: Zhan Wen via pinfall and now the official Reserve for the Best In Battle 2 Tournament
MATCH 2 – Best In Battle 2 Quarter Final Match:
Robbie Thorpe Vs Barry Lucky O’Leary
Teammates collided, however to begin this one Thorpe grabbed the mic and informed Lucky of the plan, that he must lay down. Lucky obliged only to reverse the pin attempt into a near fall of his own. Lucky and Thorpe went back and forth however it was Lucky who had a fire in his eyes that just kept giving Thorpe more and more, until he wrestled his way into a successful pinning combination for the victory.

Winner: Barry Lucky O’Leary via pinfall, advancing to the Best In Battle 2 Semi Finals

MATCH 3 – Best In Battle 2 Quarter Final Match:
Tome Filip Vs Sean Preston
In an evenly matched contest, Tome and Sean both looked to have the match won at different points. Preston was impressive though a referee bump and a sleight of hand by Tome, led to a tiger driver and the successful pinfall.

Winner: Tome Filip via pinfall, advancing to the Best In Battle 2 Semi Finals

MATCH 4 – Best In Battle 2 Quarter Final Match:
Krackerjak Vs Adam Brooks
The Loose Bastards one show to opponents the next, Krackerjak and Adam Brooks had no problem facing off with each other. Krackerjak used all the mind games he could to find an advantage including trying to make the match hardcore. Brooks was having none of it, but when Krackerjak found the advantage after a spinal tap he set up the chair into the corner for the Britney Spear. The Gloat however reversed the momentum and the hit the cross-legged patella drop brainbuster for the win.

Winner: Adam Brooks via pinfall, advancing to the Best In Battle 2 Semi Finals

MATCH 5 – BCW Women’s Championship Match:
Tarlee Vs Frankie B (c)
In a rematch from last show, Tarlee made sure to impress upon the Champion that it was her time. In a surprise occurrence Caity Luxe returned during the match and picked up where she left off with Dave Morgan. This led to a world of confusion where Caity wound up attacking Frankie B to cause a disqualification ruining Tarlee’s opportunity.
After the match Tarlee, Luxe and Frankie B remonstrated with each other until BCW Management intervened to announce that these three combatants would face off with each other at BCW 65 tonight in a Triple Threat Match for the BCW Women’s Championship.

Winner: … and STILL BCW Women’s Champion Frankie B via disqualification

MATCH 6 – BCW Tag Team Championship Match:
The Sexy Greek Boys [Levi Nixon & Sam Yannis] Vs The Super Grouse Bogans [Cletus & Bush Kelly] (c)
In rematch from BCW 62 the Bogans looked to consolidate their run as Champions. The Sexy Greek Boys struggled to stay on the same page which led to confusion. Yannis incidentally nailed Nixon giving the Bogans the advantage who then nailed the Compactor on the incumbent BCW Battle Express Champion for the three count.

Winners: … and STILL BCW Tag Team Champions The Super Grouse Bogans via pinfall

MATCH 7 – Best In Battle 2 Quarter Final Match:
Syd Parker Vs Mick Moretti
The return of The Jurassic Punk and the return of the 2024 Best In Battle Champion The Rapscallion, coincided with a war all over the arena and an exchange of mist. In the end it was Moretti with the Pump Handle Surprise in the form of a cutter that sealed the deal in this peculiar match up.

Winner: Mick Moretti via pinfall, advancing to the Best In Battle 2 Semi Finals

MATCH 8 – BCW Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage
Match: Famous B w/Vixsin Vs Gore (c) w/Krackerjak
No way out for these two combatants, as Gore looked to end the thorn in his side by having his brother Krackerjak at ringside to watch Vixsin. Moments from both men, a power display by Gore and Famous B as the human rocket, saw the Snuff King about to prevail with the door wide open. Vixsin attempted to intervene, but was interrupted by Krackerjak when the impossible happened – Krackerjak slammed the cage door over the head of Gore and allowed Famous B to exit the cage to become your new Champion.
After the match Krackerjak berated Gore on the mic and beat him down some more. Krackerjak was standing tall until the all too familiar music of the Crazy Canine boomed through the speakers. Maddog charged into the Battle Kingdom causing Krackerjak to immediately escape over the cage. Maddog and Gore stood together as they stared down Krackerjak and Famous B and Vixsin.
Winner: … and NEW BCW Heavyweight Champion Famous B by escaping the Cage
