In our next match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 45, the BCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, MADDOG and CLETUS return for their first defence against the newly formed duo of ZHAN WEN and EMMAN THE KID!
Not unlike the West Coast Eagles, the CRAZY CANINE and EVERYBODY’S FAVOURITE BOGAN were confined to health and safety protocols at BCW 44 and unable to defend their straps.
At BCW 45 It was expected that the Preston Kindred would be the challengers, but they lost the ability to tag together for twelve months after being defeated by Zhan Wen and BCW Battle Express Champion, Mitch Waterman at BCW 44.
Waterman with his thirst to deal with ongoing issues against the Preston Kindred, has handed his half of the BCW Tag Team Championship opportunity to ZHAN WEN. The EMPEROR OF PAIN with the selection of the entire Battle Kingdom for a partner against MADDOG and CLETUS required someone with heart and chose none other than the International Mystery Opponent to the Masses – EMMAN THE KID!
MADDOG and CLETUS are the incumbent Champions however with such a long layoff and with momentum riding high for ZHAN WEN and the ever-improving huge hearted EMMAN, this matchup becomes very interesting as there is no clear favourite.
On Friday 29 April 2022 will the BARKING BOGANS continue their well-earned reign as BCW Tag Team Champions or will it be disrupted by the team of PAIN AND PAINLESS?
