On Friday 25 November 2016 the inauguration of BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING took place at the Whitehorse Function and Convention Centre!

The night’s festivities saw eight action packed matches produce the following results:

Match 1: Syd Parker Def Krackerjak, Gabriel Wolfe

The Jurassic Punk Syd Parker with the assistance of his sultry side piece Erika Reid and her blue mist transmitted via a kiss pinned Krackerjak for the victory.

Match 2: Brooks/Dowie James/JXT Def Cadman/Big Cuz/F.O.X.

Without the guidance of Freddie Gold the fast and furious trio of Brooks, Dowie and JXT toppled the golden henchmen when Brooks pinned a beaten down F.O.X.

Match 3: Mohamad Ali Vaez Def Andy Phoenix by DQ

An injured Mr. Juicy was unable to compete due to a concussion, however not one to disappoint Mr. Juicy appeared and introduced his new found friend Andy Phoenix as his replacement. In control of the match Phoenix looked to be on his way to victory before the nefarious Vaez looked for the illegal advantage. In an attempt to veto such involvement an overzealous Mr. Juicy inserted himself in the action causing the unintentional disqualification in favour of Vaez.

Announcement 1: 16-Man Battle Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Tournament is announced and commences on Friday 20 January 2017.

Match 4: Hardcore Rules: Maddog Def Josh Shooter

In an all out war of attrition with both Maddog and Shooter wearing the crimson mask, this match came to an untidy end with a Death Valley Driver by Maddog on Shooter followed by the pinfall.

Announcement 2: Mr Ken Anderson announces himself as the first ever participant in the Battle Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

Match 5: Mike Burr Def Australian Suicide

In a ‘blink and you will miss it’ match the AAA sensation Australian Suicide fllew around Burr like an unstoppable ball of energy. However the wily Burr used his ring awareness to halt the high flying Suicide to secure a much needed victory with the assistance of the ring ropes.

Match 6: Cletus Def Elliot Sexton

A ‘David Vs Goliath’ match between everyone’s favourite bogan, Cletus and the narcissistic Elliot Sexton saw the dominate Sexton surprised by Cletus with a roll up.

Announcement 3: The beatdown by Sexton on Cletus prompted Battle Championship Wrestling to interrupt and announce on the big screen the impending arrival of Bobby Lashley who will face off against Elliot Sexton on Friday 20 January 2017.

Match 7: Mortar Def Kellyanne

With unlikely observers, Preston and Payne in the crowd the monstrous Mortar pinned Kellyanne after a chokeslam. The destruction looked to continue until Vixsin arrived to protect her fallen friend.

Match 8: Global Force Wrestling Championship: Nick Aldis (c) Def Slade Mercer

After months of anticipation the British guest faced off against the Kiwi import. A back and forth affair saw Slade inches from victory after hitting Aldis his patented ‘Slade Blade.’ Aldis quick to recover finally hooked Slade in his cloverleaf submission for what seemed an eternity before the valiant Slade tapped out.
