Our final match announcement for BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 66 is for the BCW WOMEN’s CHAMPIONSHIP as TARLEE (c) defends for the first time against two-time Champion, CAITY LUXE!
TARLEE’s journey to Gold dates back just over seven years ago to BCW 15 where she fell short in the inaugural tournament to eventual Champion, Indi Hartwell. Thereafter TARLEE took a leave of absence until returning in a Fatal Four Way Elimination match for the title featuring then Champion Vixsin, CAITY LUXE and Skyler Cruze at BCW 47.
In mid-2023 TARLEE defeated Vixsin to become the No.1 Contender at BCW 52, however falling short against LUXE in a singles match for the title at BCW 53 and BCW 54 before falling short yet again at BCW 55 in a Pick Your Poison Three Way Elimination Match for the title against LUXE which also involved Vixsin.
At this point THE STAR OF AUSTRALIAN WRESTLING was at a crossroads, as it appeared she would be the perennial bridesmaid. A second leave of absence followed in which time Frankie B would defeat LUXE for the gold. TARLEE returned at BCW 63 in an effort that saw Frankie B retain the title, but not without bending the rules. At BCW 64 TARLEE was on the verge of finally winning Gold until CAITY LUXE appeared and interfered leading to a disqualification victory for Frankie B.
Then at BCW 65 TARLEE was given her final opportunity in a Triple Threat Match also involving LUXE. It finally happened – The TNMT inspired TARLEE won the BCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP!
Now her first defence comes against a familiar foe in CAITY LUXE, someone she has never pinned in a one-on-one match. LUXE using her history as the only ever two-time BCW WOMEN’S CHAMPION has demanded and received this opportunity. However, this match becomes even more interesting as Dave Morgan will officiate and in recent times Morgan has struggled to steer clear of LUXE!
On Friday 24 October 2025 will CAITY LUXE become a three-time BCW WOMEN’S CHAMPION OR will TARLEE do what she has never done before and defeat CAITY LUXE in a one-on-one match to retain her Championship?
