BCW62 – Results

On Friday night BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 62 took place and produced the following results:

1. Jordie Sparkles Vs This Guy
After finally winning his own Super Open Challenge last show, Sparkles entered this contest with confidence. However This Guy, believing last time was a fluke, maintained his own confidence as he dominated Sparkles throughout. This Guy’s confidence turned into cockiness, which allowed Sparkles to find the opening he needed as he rolled up This Guy for the pinfall and his second consecutive victory in the Battle Kingdom.
Winner: Jordie Sparkles via pinfall

2. BCW Battle Express Championship: Gore (c) Vs Levi Nixon
Gore entered this match as the Double Champ and controlled the action, albeit with a distraction on the outside in the form of The Gift Robbie Thorpe who continuously taunted the Snuff King. Nixon gave it his all against his larger foe who looked to be too big of a task too soon. When the action hit the outside, it looked like Nixon was done, until the referee checked on him, giving Thorpe the opening he needed to plaster Gore with the BCW Heavyweight Championship across his cranium, before rolling him back into the ring. A hazy Nixon then rolled his arm over Gore for the cover and the three count to capture the BCW Battle Express Championship in one of the biggest upsets in BCW history.
Winner: … and NEW BCW BATTLE EXPRESS CHAMPION LEVI NIXON via pinfall

3. BCW Women’s Championship: Frankie B (c) Vs Caity Luxe
In a rematch from BCW 61, the newly crowned BCW Women’s Champion Frankie B defended her title for the first time against two-time Champion, Caity Luxe, and these two combatants went hammer and tong early. When it appeared that Luxe was on her way to regaining her strap, Referee Dave Morgan got in the way again. Frankie B then took advantage and one buckle bomb suplex and one ‘Hotel Pretty’ later saw the Champion retain her title.
Winner: … and STILL BCW WOMEN’S CHAMPION FRANKIE B via pinfall

4. Battle Jumble: Gabriel Wolfe Vs Famous B Vs Tome Filip Vs Johnathan Preston Vs Anth Cava Vs Sean Preston Vs Mitch Waterman
In the third ever Battle Jumble, with the winner earning an opportunity at any BCW Championship on a future show, these combatants were prime and ready to go. Before the opening bell, Vixsin dressed in street clothes entered the ringside area and stood emotionless on the outside.
Fall 1 – Countout
Bodies everywhere for this fall as the combatants fought in and out of the ring, until Wolfe and Cava picked up where they left off at the last show fighting on the outside until the end of the ten count.
Eliminated: Gabriel Wolfe and Anth Cava
Fall 2 – Chair Shot
As soon as this fall hit the screen, the hardware came out as the remaining combatants swung for the fences. Filip eventually had a clear shot with a chair as Johnathan held his younger brother Sean up for the hit. However Sean managed to duck, and Filip collected Johnathan Preston, thus eliminating the older Preston.
Eliminated: Johnathan Preston
Fall 3 – Pinfall
The last four combatants entered traditional wrestling mode. Waterman was taken out on the outside leaving Famous B and the Taiga to go after Sean Preston. However, with Johnathan still at ringside, he waited for his moment before he grabbed Sean’s leg to cause a disruption thus allowing Famous B to roll Sean up, and blindside the referee placing his feet on the ropes to secure the pinfall.
Eliminated: Sean Preston
Fall 4 – Superkick
The final three combatants started tuning the band early as they went to clean clock each other. Waterman was down after some teamwork from Famous B and Tome Filip. The Taiga was in control and targeted Famous B, but Waterman managed to stop him in his tracks with a superkick to the jaw for the elimination.
Eliminated: Tome Filip
Fall 5 – Over The Top Rope
The final fall left Famous B and Mitch Waterman alone for an epilogue to their 2024 trilogy. Initially Famous hugged Waterman for the save in the previous fall, but this was short lived as Waterman was having none of it. Waterman was well in control of this fall until he wasn’t. Waterman went to hit the ropes, which prompted Vixsin to finally move on the outside and pull down the top rope toppling Waterman over the top, and declaring Famous B the winner.
Winner: Famous B

5. BCW Tag Team Championships: The Sexy Greek Boys (Levi Nixon & Sam Yannis) (c) Vs The Super Grouse Bogans (Cletus & Bush Kelly)
The Sexy Greek Boys entered this match having been Champions since 2023, and on this night with Levi Nixon as the incumbent BCW Battle Express Champion. The second Champ Champ in BCW history, had a new attitude surrounding his success to the frustration of Yannis. On the flipside, Cletus and Bush were working cohesively as they stayed on point for the entire match. A miscommunication between the Greeks was enough for The Super Grouse Bogans to hit the Compactor for the three count and victory to become the new Champions. After the match Levi blamed Yannis on getting pinned and dissension was present between The Sexy Greek Boys.
Winners: … and NEW BCW Tag Team Champions The Super Grouse Bogans (Cletus & Bush Kelly) via pinfall

6. BCW Heavyweight Championship: Gore (c) Vs Robbie Thorpe
Thorpe entered with Gore’s belt, but it wasn’t long for the Snuff King to retrieve his belt before the opening bell. In a contest between catch-as-catch-can specialists, Gore and Thorpe went at it move for move, with the Battle Kingdom imploring Gore to rip Thorpe’s privates off. Thorpe looked to have gotten into the head of Gore, at one point with such confidence to walk the ropes around the ring. However Gore was able to regain momentum and tie up Thorpe in an advanced omoplata which left Thorpe with no choice but to submit. After the win, the Battle Kingdom receiving their wish as Gore twisted the privates of Thorpe.
Winner: … and STILL BCW Heavyweight Champion Gore via submission

7. International Heavyweight Championship No Holds Barred Match: PCO (c) Vs Krackerjak
The Battle Kingdom was in awe of the French Canadian Frankenstein’s otherworldly entrance as he appeared anything but human, staring a hole through the Australian Wrestling Legend Krackerjak. This match was out of control very quickly with chairs, a trash can, a barb wire plank, thumbtacks, cinder blocks and a sledgehammer. With both wrestlers wearing the crimson mask, the finish came when Krackerjak was planted in the thumbtacks before PCO went to the top to hit a moonsault on a tack filled Krackerjak to get the pinfall win and retain the prestigious International Heavyweight Championship.
Winner: … and STILL International Heavyweight Championship PCO via pinfall
