BCW61 – Results

On Friday night BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 61 took place and produced the following results:

Rapid took the opportunity to make a name for himself by taunting Nixon when on the attack. However the Sexy Greek Boy, who is one half of the BCW Tag Team Champions managed to get back on track as he hit Rapid with the Hellenic destroyer followed by the ‘Souvlaki with the Lot’ from the top rope to score the pinfall victory.

In a battle between the Lockjaw and the Cava Lock, at different times it looked like each combatant was in trouble as Wolfe torqued back on Cava’s neck in an attempt to get him to quit, while when given the chance Cava torqued down on Wolfe’s neck in an attempt to achieve the same result. The match eventually spilled to the outside and with neither combatant making it back to the ring. This one ended in a double count out.

This match appeared to be the reawakening of the dark Kindred as Johnathan and Sean were systematic, however the Bogans were resilient until Sean in shocking circumstances left his brother out to dry as he dropped from the apron. Cletus and Bush then gained the advantage and nailed Johnathan with the Compactor for the three count and to become your new No.1 Contenders.

Frankie B was given the opportunity of a lifetime from Cherry Stephens. Not one to care, Luxe believed it would be another successful title retention. However Frankie B had other plans, as she nailed Luxe with an unexpected buckle bomb before hitting ‘Hotel Pretty’ for the three count becoming the new BCW Women’s Champion.

In the trilogy match up, Waterman wanted to stay in control of the nefarious Famous B. B took matters to the outside and in an attempt to end Waterman with a piledriver on the stairs, Waterman managed to reverse and back body drop Famous in the most painful manner to the floor. The action finally re-entered the ring where Waterman had the match under control until Famous B shifted the momentum, grabbed a handful of tights and scored the win.

Jordie Sparkles entered the Battle Kingdom for his final challenge, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. This brought out his opponent,This Guy, who spent more time occupied with the fans debating his name than concentrating on his upcoming challenge. The referee called for the bell and in no time Jordie Sparkles rolled up his foe and achieved his first ever victory in the Battle Kingdom.

A big fight feel surrounded this match which was billed as The Ultimate Battle, with Gore’s strength and Moretti’s agility this one did not disappoint. After ten-minutes expired, Gore officially retained his Battle Express Championship. Thereafter the battle continued with Moretti looking to break down his larger foe. Going to the top was the only mistake of The Rapscallion as Gore collected him cleanly on the way down before nailing Moretti with the Dominator for the win and to become the new BCW Heavyweight Champion.

The replacement match for PCO Vs Maddog did not disappoint and was as brutal as one could imagine for these two Australian Wrestling icons. Krackerjak felt the pain of the barbed wife, as did the Crazy Canine. The ring turned into a junkyard and Krackerjak went junkyard like as he tossed Maddog from the ring through the barbed wire to the floor. An incapacitated Maddog was then rolled into the ring and pinned in the most shocking finish of the year.
