BCW 65 – Results

Last night BATTLE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING 65: BEST IN BATTLE 2 FINALS took place and the results were as follows:

MATCH 1 – This Guy Vs Johnathan Preston
This Guy grabbed the mic to remind the Battle Kingdom of the legends he faced, before telling the fans his name is not currently their concern. Johnathan entered and appeared like the psychopath from years past. Unable to knock Jonathan off his feet, This Guy was collected by a decapitating big boot and the rest was history.
Winner: Johnathan Preston via pinfall
MATCH 2 – Best In Battle 2 Semi Final Match:
Tome Filip Vs Barry Lucky O’Leary
Lucky entered through the curtain, only to be jumped by Tome Filip. The Taiga attacked Lucky’s leg and wrapped it around the ring post multiple times. Knowing the match had not started, Tome demanded the referee call for the bell and the match officially started. Tome continued to attack Lucky’s leg making it difficult for him to stand. However when the moment arrived Lucky wrestled his way to a pinning combination to claim victory.
Winner: Barry Lucky O’Leary via pinfall, advancing to the Best In Battle 2 Final.
MATCH 3 – Best In Battle 2 Semi Final Match:
Adam Brooks Vs Mick Moretti
This match began with mind games, as Moretti wanted a different referee and brought out Morgan Davidson to counter referee Dave Morgan. The match finally started and Brooks appeared to record the victory, however he used the ropes. The win was then voided. The combatants continued to fight and Brooks found himself in the winners column, however the bell did not ring for the restart so the win was once again voided. Finally the match restarted and it was back and forth going before Moretti pulled out the win to advance to the Best In Battle 2 Final.

Winner: Mick Moretti via pinfall, advancing to the Best In Battle 2 Final.

MATCH 4 – BCW Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match:
Frankie B (c) Vs Caity Luxe Vs Tarlee
This match was made the night prior, and had everything. Just as one combatant was in control, another found a way to intervene. Referee Dave Morgan was prevented from making the three count on multiple occasions to the dismay of Luxe and even got involved to the point that Luxe fell flat on her back. In the concluding stages, Luxe took out Frankie B and Tarlee then capitalised on Luxe hitting The Rebound for the pin and to finally capture the BCW Women’s Championship.

Winner: … and NEW BCW Women’s Champion Tarlee via pinfall.

MATCH 5 – Falls Count Anywhere Match:
Gabriel Wolfe Vs Anth Cava
These two combatants have been deadlocked for almost a year. In what was thought to be the final showdown ended the same way, after carnage with chairs, tools and shenanigans. Wolfe wanted to use a wrench to end the feud once and for all, However when the moment came, both combatants laid flat and pinned each other for this match to be declared a draw.

Winner: Draw via Double Pin

MATCH 6 – BCW Battle Express Championship Match:
Levi Nixon (c) Vs Sam Yannis
The Sexy Greek Boys finally had their one on one match. Nixon had moments where a retention looked certain after hitting a Souvlaki with the Lot. Yannis just kept kicking out, as did Nixon in reverse. Neither man wanted to give the other the satisfaction. In the closing seconds when time was about to expire Yannis caught Nixon in the Rings of Mythology for the submission win. After the match Nixon gave Yannis his belt to the delight of the crowd. However once Yannis was blindsided Nixon retunred to attack Yannis with a steel chair. Nixon told Yannis that he ruined The Sexy Greek Boys due to his own selfishness.
Winner: …and NEW BCW Battle Express Champion, Sam Yannis via submission.
MATCH 7 – Famous B In Ring Celebration / BCW Heavyweight Championship Match:
Famous B (c) Vs Jordie Sparkles
Famous B celebrated his victory over Gore in a Steel Cage the night prior. Giving Vixsin the night off, Famous B decided to issue an open challenge as long as his opponent was under a certain height, weight and could do the splits. To nobody’s surprise, B’s opponent was revealed to be Jordie Sparkles. Famous was shocked by Sparkles’ fight throughout the contest. However before too long Famous stopped playing with his food and viciously ended the match with a superkick. After the match Krackerjak entered the ring to congratulate Famous B and belittle Gore who was not in the arena. Maddog’s music then hit, and he went straight after Krackerjak. The pair blooded each other before Famous B removed Krackerjak from the equation and they escaped with their lives.
Winner: … and still BCW Heavyweight Champion Famous B via pinfall.
MATCH 8 – Best In Battle 2 Final Match:
Mick Moretti Vs Barry Lucky O’Leary
In the night’s Main Event, it appeared on paper, with Lucky’s injured leg that Moretti would have the advantage and go back to back. It came close as Moretti isolated the injured leg of Lucky. However Lucky continued to fight and relentlessly kept making it back to his feet. The moment presented itself for Lucky and he took it, hitting Moretti with the 4 Leaf Buster for the pinfall victory and to be crowned the Best In Battle 2 Champion.
Winner: … and Best In Battle 2 Tournament Champion Barry Lucky O’Leary via pinfall.
